Galvanized Reno Mattress PVC Coated Gabion Mattress
PVC Coated Gabion Mattress is made by hexagonal mesh gabion. It is a type of woven gabion baskets. The Reno mattress is a structure made of hexagonal double twisted wire mesh. Reno mattresses are filled with stones at the project site to form flexible and permeable, monolithic structures such as river bank protection and channel linings for erosion control. The steel wire used to manufacture the mattress is heavily zinc-coated soft temper steel.

Soil will generally be deposited in the small voids of the stone fill material during drainage and draw down and will promote vegetated growth inundating the structure. Over time in some applications the structure can become so inundated with vegetation as to no longer be visible. Vegetation, plant and tree growth can be implemented at the time of construction utilizing several methods to ensure vegetation occurs immediately.
